On 23 January 2025, the online webinar entitled "Time to Act: Malaysia's Commitment for A Sustainable Future and The Global Plastics Treaty Goals," jointly organised by MPMA and PETRONAS Chemicals Group (PCG), was successfully concluded.

The webinar which attracted close to 100 participants had provided key updates from the latest Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC) session. The webinar was attended by Government representatives from NRES, KPKT, MITI, SWCORP, MGTC and other key agencies, and MPMA members.
