INTRODUCTION

OCS is an international service from the plastics industry to reduce plastic pellet, flake and powder loss into the environment. The programme was initiated by the American Chemistry Council (ACC) and the Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS). The Malaysian initiative is led by the Malaysian Plastics Manufacturers Association (MPMA).

OBJECTIVE

To ensure that the plastics pellets, flakes and powders that pass through manufacturing facilities in the Malaysia are handled with the care they deserve and do not end up in our rivers or seas.

OCS IN MALAYSIA

Operation Clean Sweep (OCS)® is launched on 8 December 2022 by the Malaysian Plastics Manufacturers Association (MPMA). Being the sole OCS partner in the country, MPMA wishes to promote the adoption of the programme by the plastics industry in Malaysia.
