DPCC 2025 was officially launched last Friday. The competition, sponsored by Dow, is MPMA and Dow's effort to promote Plastics Circularity. Mr Yeoh Lian Kuan, Sales Director of South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand for Packaging & Specialty Plastics, Dow and Ms Wee Ching Yun, Vice-President, MPMA, had together launched the DPCC. The launch had attracted several universities and they are:
1. Universiti Malaya (UM)
2. Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)
3. Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM)
4. Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM)
5. Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM)
6. Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT)
7. Xiamen University Malaysia (XMU) and others.
Many of the universities had engaged with Dow thorough a Q&A about Plastics Circularity, and it was observed that many were already thinking of the problem statement to shape their plans for the DPCC competition.
On this note we hope that more universities will participate in DPCC. For more information on DPCC 2025, you can check our website at mpma.org.my to assess the competition guidelines and programme outline. MPMA wishes you all the best, and happy registering!
