MPMA'S SKILLS NEEDS RESEARCH PROJECT SURVEY QUESTIONAIRE New   

 

MPMA will be undertaking a research study with MONASH University to publish a report on skills development and requirements of the Malaysian plastics industry.

 

The plastics sector within the chemicals industry was identified as a fast track sector by the Economic Planning Unit under the Prime Minister's Department for the 11th Malaysian Plan.  One of the five strategic thrust identified is accelerating human capital development to support employers and employees in training and skills to grow productivity, improve quality and increase profitability.

 

The focus of this research study is to meet the objectives for the plastics industry in terms of skills and training requirements as well as future skills required. 


The survey questionnaire will only be distributed to

companies which are involved in injection moulding

process only.

GMI's FUNDAMENTALS OF MOULD TECHNOLOGY New


MPMA is partnering with the German Malaysia Institute (GMI) to offer tFundamentals of Mould Technology Programme to MPMA members.This course is designed to provide participants with the fundamental knowledge in plastic materials and

processing.


Training Date

5th to 7th October 2016 


Course Objectives 

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to :


  • Classify different types of plastic materials       and plastic additives
  • Identify and explain types of plastic                processing
  • commonly practiced by industries
  • Identify types of plastic injection                     mould constructions

Target Group 
The course is designed for those related to the Plastic Mould Industry.

CERTIFY YOUR EMPLOYEES WITH MALAYSIAN SKILLS CERTIFICATION FOR THEIR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES THROUGH RECOGNITION OF PRIOR 
ACHIEVEMENT New



FULLY SUBSIDISED FOR MPMA MEMBERS


MPMA is collaborating with the Department of Skills Development (DSD) to offer the Recognition of Prior Achievement Programme to MPMA members. Under this special arrangement with DSD, members that wish to certify their employees and * foreign workers with the Malaysian Skills Certification can apply for 100% subsidy on first-come first-serve basis

 

About Recognition of Prior Achievement

Recognition of Prior Achievement is a Programme to award employees who do not have any formal qualification, but can demonstrate skills based on working experience as outlined in the National Occupational Skills Standards (NOSS).

 

Who Can Participate in this Programme?

All employees who have the necessary skills and knowledge either through work experience or training (formal or informal) can participate in this Programme. Employees who qualify can be awarded with Certification up to the highest level according to their respective field(s). 

 

Programme Fees and Subsidy

Each certification level costs RM300. Under this special arrangement with DSD, employees who qualify can be eligible for FULL SUBSIDY.
